ME MYSELF AND I
Miscegenation, whether hereditary or cultural, symbolizes the encounter and hybridization between different cultures, ethnicities or traditions, generating a genetic and sociocultural mix. This phenomenon raises profound questions about identity, both individual and collective: how to define oneself when one carries within oneself several heritages, sometimes perceived as contradictory? By shaking up the traditional frameworks of belonging, miscegenation invites us to redefine the notions of nationality, culture and roots. In a globalized world where identities are fragmented and recomposed, it reflects a quest for meaning, between anchoring and openness, between tradition and modernity. If this quest for identity can give rise to internal tensions, it also offers an inestimable wealth: that of multiple perspectives and the capacity to embody a reinvented diversity, turned towards the future.
